CHICAGO – To support residents throughout the 1st District, State Senator Javier Loera Cervantes is partnering with Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García, the Berwyn Development Corporation, the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to hold a resource event for women in business.
“Providing resources to improve the lives of residents in our communities is an important part of being a state senator, and I feel that it is a crucial duty for me to do so,” said Cervantes (D-Chicago). “This event will provide many resources for women in business, helping them to access needed information and continue having successful careers.”
The free event will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the Jalos Restaurant, Sports Bar & Grill, which is located at 6334 Ogden Ave. in Berwyn. Among the resources available at the event will be panel discussions, networking opportunities and a Q&A session.
